The National Honor Society induction ceremony for sophomores and juniors is at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium.
“It’s to celebrate the people getting into the NHS for next year,” NHS faculty sponsor Stephan Rotan said. “We get to go through the ceremony steps and pass out the certificates on stage.”
Sophomore Lanna Zhang will be inducted on Tuesday and is excited to join the organization.
“I’m excited to become a part of NHS. It’s something I’ve been intending to join since the beginning of high school. It looks good on college apps, but I’m also excited for the community and volunteering aspect of the organization,” Zhang said.
Students are encouraged to dress in business casual. Drinks and snacks will be provided, and parents and friends are welcome.
