The softball team (8-2) made school history the last time they played Heritage (0-10), and the Redhawks will have a chance to do it again when they host the Coyotes at The Nest Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
“When it’s our time to step up, we don’t need to play hero ball—we just need to do our job,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. “Whether it’s putting the ball in play, making the routine plays on defense, or simply playing smart softball, the little things make all the difference. Keeping it simple has been key for us, and it’s really working.”
Softball players did not respond to Wingspan’s request for comment before publication.
