The baseball team faced Heritage for the second time Friday, this time losing 8-2. The team looks to turn things around with their game against Independence Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at The Nest
“I think the hardest part of playing the game against Heritage was staying positive towards myself and remembering that we’re out there for a reason, which is to play baseball well,” sophomore Carson Higgs said.
Higgs feels that staying positive is also going to be tough for the upcoming game as well.
“The hardest part about [Tuesday’s] game is going to be staying positive and just knowing that we have to win today in order to continue to make a push for the playoffs,” Higgs said.
