Board of Trustees monthly meeting Monday

The monthly Board Meeting will happen at the district administration building on Monday.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees is holding its April meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. with the agenda featuring special recognitions including Frisco PTA as a partner in education, students on the Superintendent Advisory Council, the 10 academic decathlon teams that went to state, as well as athletics teams from across the district that have competed at the state level. 

In addition, the board will receive a presentation from Frisco PTA.

The board will also vote on the next steps in retiring Staley Middle School, whether or not to approve past meeting minutes, and attendance waivers for various campuses.

Collin College will maintain its low tuition rate of $67 per credit hour for Fall 2025. Students for the 2025-26 school year have the option to take classes at the Collin campus or at the Nest.

Lauren is a senior entering her fourth and final year with Wingspan! This year she is an Executive Producer for the WTV Daily Update. Lauren is a member of many organizations on campus, including PALs, Rocky’s Roses, and Best Buddies. In her free time, she enjoys all types of crafting, dance, and photography as well as spending time with her family and friends! She is looking forward to everything her senior year will bring!

Christine Han is a senior and this will be her third year on the Wingspan staff. She manages social media for Wingspan and is also a photographer. She will be participating in her 4th year with the CTE Competitive Mock Trial Team. In her free time she likes to work in various women’s rights groups, read books, watch movies, and hang out with her friends. If she’s not too busy, she also likes to bake.
