Sitting in third with a 5-2-1 record, the girls’ soccer team enters the second half of its District 9-5A season on Tuesday as they look to avenge a close 2-1 loss against the Memorial Warriors at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial High School.

“We are ready to play our hearts out on Tuesday; we’ve been working hard in practice and with our recent win streak, we are confident,” senior Emma Krilowicz said. “Last time we lost to Memorial, but this time we are ready to go out and fight. We will review  film from last time we played them and address any problems we had.”

Looking to bounce back from a tough first half of its District 9-5A season, the boys’ team hopes to restart with a win against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. at home.

“We approach it like every other game, so there’s no real changes there,” head soccer coach Fred Kaiser said. “What we do after the game might change a little bit since we’ve got a little time off, but leading into the game we won’t have any changes. I expect us to work hard and improve on what we’ve done the best.”
