Mixing in non-district opponents and Frisco schools in the early parts of the season, baseball gets back to District 9-5A play Tuesday as they try to keep their 1-0 district record clear of defeat as they host the Reedy Lions Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.

Coming off of a 4-0 win from Frisco in their first district match-up on Feb. 26, the team is confident for the future.

“Our goals are of course to win,” freshman Cade McGarhh said. “But as a team we’re looking to make the playoffs. We want to be closer together and bring each other together as a whole.”

Maintaining a set routine of practices during the week, sophomore Owen Archer believes the team will perform well against the Lions.

“I feel good and confident, our team this year is strong,” he said. “We should win; I’ve been hitting at least once a week and we have had a good practice routine.”
