Rileigh Horcher

Wingspan: What are your goals as student body president?

Horcher: “Some of my main goals as student body president would definitely be to create a unity in the campus and to make every student who walks in the doors every morning feel welcome and invited and recognize different groups of people, different clubs, different grade levels and just make everyone feel excited to be at the school and to be a part of the school spirit that is the Redhawk Nation.”

Wingspan: What sets you apart from the other candidate?

Horcher: “I think the thing that definitely sets us apart is that we come from different leadership backgrounds and that she’s in Red Rhythm and I’ve been in cheer, but other than that, we’ve been great friends since fourth grade. We’re both super excited to be running and we both are just beyond honored.”

Wingspan: How would you help better foster school spirit?

Horcher: “I definitely think a leader should have a desire for school spirit and a passion for getting people involved and finding new ways to reach out to people differently and I definitely have a love for all of that because I am crazy involved and I absolutely love it. I wouldn’t have it any other way; it’s made me who I am today.”
