Located near the intersection of 423 and Rockhill, Frisco ISD’s newest elementary school is set to open in the fall of 2022. Originally opening in 2021, the push back has been attributed to a redesign of the campus.

The Board of Trustees monthly school board meeting for January took place on Tuesday night at the Frisco ISD Administration Building.

Aside from the tax reports and employee recognition, the most discussed topic was regarding Elementary School #43 set to open in fall of 2021.

“We are going out to bid this spring and beginning construction in the summer,” Stantec Architecture’s Trey Laird said in Tuesday’s school board meeting. “It takes about a year to build an elementary school. So elementary #43 is on track for the 2021 school year.”
