The “school down the street” is the team to beat Tuesday evening as the soccer teams take on the rival Centennial Titans at 7 p.m.

Losing to Independence 5-1 on Friday, players, such as junior Emerie Jones, have goals for that she hopes will benefit the team.

“My personal goal is to work on ball distribution and long shots,” Jones said. “I would also like to continue to keep the midfield organized and the team focused and working as a whole and not to be dribble happy.”

Falling to the Knights 1-0 in the team’s last game, boys’ head coach Fred Kaiser has a simple goal.

“Win, they are definitely a beatable team,” Kaiser said. “We just have to bring our A game.”
