Sitting in first place as the second round of District 9-5A play begins, the baseball team takes on 7th place Independence High School Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at The Nest.

“You can lose districts in the first round,” senior Cade Vestal said. “But you can’t win it. There’s still a lot of work to be done.”

The last time they played the Knights, the Redhawks came out on top 6-0.

“With playing Indy again we really just try to focus on ourselves more than the opponent,” Vestal said. “If we stay on us and play our best version of baseball we win 10/10 times.”
