Monthly board meeting takes place on Tuesday
Applications for district advisory committees have officially opened. All community members — from students and staff, to teachers and taxpayers — are invited to apply to become a member of the district’s numerous advisory committees, including the Legislative Leadership Committee, School Health Advisory Committee, and District Library Advisory Committee.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees will be holding their monthly meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the administration building.
One of the first things on the evening agenda will be the discussion of expansion and renovations of the FISD Career and Technical Education Center which are projected to begin in early May.
The board will also be reviewing and acting on a resolution establishing the purpose for paying Lone Star High School employees for their regular duty schedule during the school’s emergency closure.
The renewal of the District of Innovation plan will be one of the final topics of the evening.
