The Redhawk soccer teams are headed to Toyota Stadium Tuesday night, when they face the Wakeland Wolverines in District 9-5A matchups.

After a loss to Frisco on Friday, the girls are eager to win against the Wolverines on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

“After the Frisco game and previous years of playing them, I expect the team to be ready to play Wakeland and play hard like they always do,” junior Reese Brown said. “The team is just working on playing well together and having a good start against Wakeland.”

Following the girls, the boys face the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. with hopes to add another win to their 5-0-1 record in District 9-5A.

“The focus moving into tomorrow’s game is to be able to control the ball better, and not give it away carelessly,” head coach Evan McGee said. “I expect to win. I expect a hard fought battle, but I expect three points at the end of the day.”
