The Redhawk soccer teams returned to the field on Tuesday, when they shut out the Centennial Titans in District 9-5A matchups.

The girls’ team was able to hold back the Titans at The Nest, winning 4-0.

“We played quick and aggressively on Tuesday,” sophomore Cate Butcher said. “We really combined well, which led to the win.”

Achieving a similar result to the girls, the boys’ team soared over the Titans 2-0 continuing their undefeated streak in District 9-5A.

“We kept them shut out and stopped a lot of the things that they wanted to do. In all it was a great team effort,” assistant coach Mark Thomas said. “We’re working on cohesiveness on defense, staying together and playing tight, offensively.”
