Aiming for another win, the Redhawk volleyball team faces the Rockwall Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at The Nest in a non-district game.

“I feel confident in our ability to execute on our side of the net. Rockwall is one of the better teams we will face this season,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “I expect us to be challenged, it will be good for us to feel some pressure and compete against a good team.”

After a win against Independence on Friday, the Redhawk volleyball team took over first place in District 10-5A, giving the team confidence moving forward.

“Being undefeated gives us motivation to keep working hard so we can come out as first in district,” sophomore Andrea Juneau said. “As a team we have been watching films to help us understand what plays to help us succeed and so we can know what we’re up against. Also during practice we work on plays to be successful and different drills to prepare us for the game.”
