The Redhawk volleyball team headed to Lebanon Trail High School on Friday, broke out the brooms and left with a three game sweep of the Trail Blazers in a District 10-5A game.

“The game against Lebanon Trail was solid,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “Wasn’t our best play, but still pulled out a win. Our biggest strength of the night was our power offensively, we were making Lebanon Trail’s defense work really hard.”

The win against the Trail Blazers brings the Redhawks’ winning streak to 6-0 and keeps them in first place in District 10-5A.

“We played really well against Lebanon Trail,” junior Gabbi Fasciano said. “Our strengths were our serve receive and we played really well as a team on Friday.”

For junior Grace Payne, the win on Friday gives the team motivation heading into the second round of district.

“The game against Lebanon Trial went really well, it was a little slower than we wanted, but we still managed to sweep,” Payne said. “It also gave us momentum going into the second round of district. We were definitely satisfied with the results, a sweep is a sweep.”
