Just before the break, students were sent an email about an update to tardy procedures. According to school administration, there has been an increase in the number of students being late to class.

In the email sent to students before Thanksgiving break, the consequences for tardiness were explained. The consequences begin Monday.

Students in the main hallways after the first bell will be sent to get a tardy slip and students in academic hallways will be marked late for class by teachers.

Tardiness will also be marked for students late to all other classes.

Four to six tardies will give a lunch detention, seven to eight will give a one hour reflection and more than nine tardies will assign students a two hour reflection.

When the next semester begins in January, the tardy count for each student will reset to zero.
