Varun Saravanan, Executive Producer

Varun Saravanan is in his third year of Wingspan and first as an executive producer. He’s also President of Business Professionals of America on campus and loves to compete in the organization every year. If he’s not in Wingspan, you might find him watching as many Marvel movies as he can fit in a schedule. Varun loves to spend time with supportive friends and give back to others through volunteering and charities for communities he’s connected to.

The Texas legislature was in such for much of late 2023, both for the regular session and for multiple consecutive special sessions. According to Governor Abbott, the sessions would continue until school choice legislation was passed. 2023 ended without school vouchers being voted into law, bringing the question: what's next for school choice in Texas?

Out with the old and in with the new is the motto this year as classrooms got a refresh with new furniture. This includes new desks, chairs and whiteboard tables.

The trophy cases are emptied out from their usual display of the school's achievements.

The library walls are empty in preparation for the campus refresh. Every inch of the school walls are being repainted this summer.

Cafeterias. classrooms, and parking lots will be empty from Saturday to Sunday, March 17 as all students will be off campus for spring break. Once students return, the final quarter of the school year will begin.
