Boys’ basketball travels to Emerson High School at 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the Redhawks looking to secure another win over the Mavericks and improve their District 10-5A record to 6-1.

“It’s been about a month since we last played them, so they have definitely gotten better since but we’ve been keeping track of them,” head coach Stephen Friar said. “Just like any game, we go into it like it’s our first and play like it’s our last.”

The Redhawks look to use their momentum from their win over Centennial on Friday to push them through this game.

“Both of us (Emerson and Liberty) will have a pretty good idea on how each other plays, so we got to bring more intensity and pacing than them during the game,” senior Booda Daniels said. “We’ll definitely make some adjustments for what’s needed but we’ll just continue to play our game and play it well.”
