The Redhawks got back on the winning track as they successfully defended The Nest from the Centennial Titans on Friday, winning 57-52 to improve their District 10-5A record to 5-1.

“We played well, especially after the loss against Memorial, it was good to see the boys just get back to work and earn this win,” head coach Stephen Friar said. “We were able to match Centennial’s intensity all game and do what we needed to do.”

It was a combination of team work and smart ball movement that allowed the Redhawks to find the win.

“We were really working as a team all throughout the game, being able to move the ball to everyone till something opens up is what we excel at and we took advantage of it,” senior Matthew Bishop said. “However, we still have our slip ups and turnover the ball, which we need to work on eliminating going forward.”
