Continuing to gain wins, the girls’ basketball team saw a 56-23 win over the Heritage Coyotes on Saturday.

“Considering we had three days of no basketball due to the ice storm, we played pretty well and executed well,” head coach Ross Reedy said. “We did not have Journee and so some of our younger kids had to step up and help us play point haired and get us all properly situated. I was proud of them.”

The win brings the girls record in District 10-5A to 10-1 and keeps them in first place.

“Our strengths against heritage was being able to get what we want,” senior Journee Harris said. “We knew the game plan going into the game, and with that game plan we didn’t have to settle for things we didn’t need.”
