After barely qualifying for the playoffs, the Redhawks baseball team is doing its best to prove everyone wrong after beating a top seed Frisco and then sweeping W.T. White. Now they have their sights set on the regional tournament, and cross-district rival Reedy is standing in their way.

“Reedy is a tough team, we played earlier this season and it looks like it’ll be another scrappy series like Frisco,” head coach Scott McGarrh said. “They’re gonna pitch well and be aggressive on the bases, and basically do what we do, so it’ll come to who can do it better.”

The number one focus for the Redhawks, is to not give up at any point and keep battling through every game.

“With the team we have, our highs don’t get too high and our lows don’t get too low, so we continue to play no matter what is happening,” senior Ryan Healey said. “We’re relentless and we have the capability to win this series like we won Frisco, it’s a matter of executing what we do best.”
