After a week off, cross country was back at it running in the Lovejoy XC Fall Festival. New personal bests were set, as the team progresses through their season.

It was back to full speed ahead as cross country returned to action in Saturday’s Lovejoy XC Fall Festival.

“The team is taking strides in the right direction,” coach Robert Thayer said. “We had several athletes run a personal best time, and I expect our athletes to have another good showing this week running at Southlake, as it will be another meet with great competition.”

After having a week off, junior Dominic Ward is hoping to remain healthy as the season progresses.

“I need to work on stretching and getting treatment through the week and try to stay sick-free so I can run my best at the Southlake Invitational next week,” Ward said.
