Lucky Redhawks face Student Council’s bingo

A campus favorite, Bingo, was back for the 2023-24 school year on Wednesday hosted by Student Council.

“STUCO loves putting on these events because it’s a great way to get people involved who might not be involved in something else,” Student Council Vice President Lily Leyden said. “And it gives everyone a chance to have fun with friends during advisory.”

With a certain amount of luck involved in being the first to yell “Bingo!”, most students do not expect to find themselves winners when they first enter the gym, but when they do, it can feel great.

“I feel great and fabulous,” sophomore Adani Adams said. “It’s amazing that I won bingo.”

Those reactions combined with the lack of skill needed to have fun playing bingo, are partly why Student Council decided to bring back bingo.

“I think bingo’s a great game because anyone can play, and it doesn’t take any talent,” Leyden said. “And we get to celebrate different people every time we play.”
