Freshmen participate in English STAAR field test

Redhawks will participate in the English STAAR EOC field test on Thursday morning.

The Texas Education Agency selected several schools to participate to participate in the STAAR EOC stand alone field test during first and second period on Thursday, and Liberty was one of the selected campuses.

This test will only be taken by students enrolled in any level of Englis 1, which is mostly freshman.

The test will be taken online, so students need their fully charged Chromebooks to school.

Freshmen are ready for the test as English teachers have been preparing them. Students will not receive scores to this test.

Testing locations are posted in the rotunda, and there will be no advisory tomorrow due to testing.

Sadie Johnson is a Senior and it is her 3rd year on Wingspan. At school, she is a part of the National Honor Society and several clubs. She spends her time both working in childcare and volunteering at the Frisco YMCA. She loves to binge movies, cook, and listen to music. Sadie loves spending her weekends shopping, eating sushi, and going on walks with her family. She participates in Wingspan as a Staff Reporter and works on Social Media. Remi Williams is a senior and starting her fourth year in Wingspan. At school she is involved in Student Council, on the Girls soccer team, and is Historian for NHS. When she’s not at work she loves hanging out with her friends, working out, and trying new recipes. But she’s usually talking to anyone and everyone or watching Netflix (feel free to send her show recommendations). Her most embarrassing accomplishment is that she has a couple thousand followers on Tik Tok, even though she doesn’t know a single dance. Remi is hoping to pursue a career in marketing at whatever school accepts her in the future. Oh, and she is also probably the funniest person you will ever meet despite what anyone may say.
