The Board of Trustees election is coming up in May, but before voting happens, ballot order must be drawn. The drawing for ballot order is on Monday.

The primary election in Texas is fast approaching on March 5, but here in Frisco there’s a bit more time before the next Board of Trustees election.

Two places on the FISD Board of Trustees are up for election on May 4, but before voters can cast their votes, the order in which their names appear on the ballot must be determined.

This will happen Monday morning at the district’s Administration Building.

According to MIT’s election lab, there is mixed evidence on the relationship between where a candidate appears on the ballot and the final election results.

However, a series of studies have presented some evidence for ballot order effects.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees election is May 4 with early voting running from April 22 to April 30.
