Love, Haley: how to have the perfect girls night!

Haley Ward
In this weekly blog, senior Haley Ward shares a little bit of everything: deep dives on her favorite topics, her fashion favorites, and how to make the most out of your high school years.

As a little girl I always dreamed of the perfect girls night. From Fancy Nancy books to the scene in the Princess Diaries 2 where the girls mattress surf down the stairs, I could not wait to have girl’s nights of my own! My favorite nights are relaxed ones eating a sweet treat while watching a movie, so here are my tips for the perfect girls night!!

  1. Dinner

This part pretty much depends on what you enjoy, but for me, the best kind of dinner is one served with queso! My favorite place to eat right now is Rustys, but it honestly depends on what kind of mood you are in.

  1. Sweet Treat

Was it really a full meal if you did not get a sweet treat to finish it off? My current favorite dessert is the confetti dipped cone from Dairy Queen, it is the best.

  1. Pajama Sets

To me, a matching pajama set is the most comfy thing to sleep in. They are also just so cute and make for the best sleepover attire.

  1. Rom Com

A movie is a must-have for a girls night. I personally love romantic comedies and I wrote a ton of blogs about them if you are looking for the perfect one!

Those are my classic things for a girls night, but at the end of the day it’s the people who make the place. So whether it is you and your friends, you and your family, or even if you are doing it solo, it will be the best night!

Love, Haley
