I think people are going way too heavy with the hate on country music. Maybe it’s just because I grew up with it, but it really isn’t that bad. In fact, it can be charming!

It definitely has that outside-in-the-barn vibe and I honestly really like it. I like the guitars and the style of the singing.

I see many people making fun of country music by comparing female country singers to male country singers. The guys are always singing about their tractors and such while the women sing about how their husband cheated on them.

Not all country songs are good (obviously), especially some of the new songs, but a few still manage to get it right. I just like the oldies; they’re a treat.

Country music is fun music. It genuinely feels nice to play it or hear it when you’re playing in the tall grass outside or having a cookout with family.

Many might disagree with me just because it’s obviously more southern music, but give it a chance! It’s fun to dance and sing to it if you really think about it! It’s obviously not my go-to when I open Spotify, but when it plays on the radio, I can’t help but vibe to it. It’s great.
