Baseball hits the road to take on Independence Friday at 7:30 p.m. as the team looks to carry the momentum and secure another win for the Redhawks.
“Staying focused throughout the game [is what we’re focusing on],” head coach Scott McGarrh said. “After a big win on Tuesday, we need that same fire for the second one.”
According to freshman Joshua Fei, it’s important to not underestimate Independence despite their previous loss.
“They lost last time, so I think they’re going to have more energy and more force,” Fei said. “They’re a good team so we have to expect the best side of them.”
