Many COVID-19 protocols are changing for the 2021-22 school year, including face coverings being optional and visitors being allowed on campus according to standard visiting rules. Additionally, six-foot social distancing will be maintained when feasible, particularly in classrooms.

While all students are on campus this year, Frisco ISD COVID-19 protocols are more slightly different than they were last year, as Texas school districts are not allowed to require masks

However, some procedures remain the same, as parents and staff are still required to report positive cases to the school.

The administration will also continue to notify parents, students, and staff when there is a positive case on campus and FISD will continue to publish weekly case counts by campus on the district website

Staff and students who test positive for COVID-19 must quarantine for 10 days.

The nurse will send students who display COVID-19 symptoms home, and students may not return until they complete the quarantine period, receive a negative test, or have a physician’s note stating that the symptoms were not due to covid.

Students and staff exposed to those who test positive will not be required to quarantine.
