Red Rhythm will be hosting the Crowd Pleasers Dance contest this Saturday, utilizing many of the school’s classrooms as dressing rooms. The drill team will not be performing this weekend, but dozens of other drill teams and dance companies will be.

“[Attendees] will get to see other Frisco teams and teams from surrounding cities compete,” drill team director Nicole Nothe said. “They’ll also get to see how hard Red Rhythm has worked to pull together to put on a great competition for one thousand dancers.”

Hosting the competition is not only an opportunity to raise revenue for the organization through concessions and other sales, but a way to build a positive reputation for the school and its drill team.

“It brings in a lot of money for our girls for spring show costumes,” Nothe said. “But it also brings in a community, so people from the state know who Liberty Red Rhythm is and how well we treat them with our customer service.”
