Tennis takes on the Warriors

After seeing multiple wins over the weekend, the Redhawks are swinging into the District 10-5A tournament. Hot off of several victories, the Redhawks are eager to put their skills to the test.

Hitting the court again, the Redhawk tennis team heads to Memorial High School to face the Warriors on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.

“We are working on continued consistency and teamwork,” head coach Erica Dopson said. “We have high expectations with the hard work we have been putting in each day.” 

Senior Sanjheev Rao feels confident going into this match.

“For Tuesday’s match we expect to win, nothing less,” Rao said. “We’re the better team by rankings and hope to bring the game that we’re working on.”

Staying consistent as a team and learning from previous matches will be key to success on Tuesday. 

“We are working on consistency and poaching,” Rao said.
