After beating Plano West earlier this week, the girls’ basketball team is back out on the court Friday against Cedar Hill at 6:15 p.m.

“I feel best that our product and the way that we have been playing,” head girls basketball coach Ross Reedy said. “On the court we just need more seamless play, more intensity defensively, and constant communication on the court and from the bench engagement.”

Looking to extend a three game winning streak, freshman Jacy Abii says the streak has given the team confidence.

“Im feeling pretty good, its feeling like were about to get into the season and were about to continue to get dubs,” Abii said. “Playing off 3 wins definitely fuels our confidence, which helps us on the court.”

Still early in the season, Reedy hopes for the team to just continue to improve.

“Just all around, just a better feel about being out there,” Reedy said. “Sometimes early in the season there are moments of confusion, lack of confidence, lack of chemistry, and as you move forward you iron out some of the wrinkles. So we need to iron out another wrinkle.”
