Looking to catch a win, baseball takes on the Heritage Coyotes on Friday. “We’re still learning as a team, especially with the younger guys, but we’re meshing and finding our style,” senior Jack Dehnisch said.

Protecting The Nest from Coyotes is the goal for the baseball team Friday at 7:30 p.m. as they look to sweep the series against Heritage High School by repeating Tuesday’s game and improving their district record of 3-2.

“It’s pretty much the same game plan, we just need to carry it out at a high level like Tuesday, since it was some of the best execution we’ve had all season,” head coach Scott McGarrh said. “We need our pitchers to keep Heritage’s guys off base, get out of the gates fast on offense, and be constantly aggressive to them.”

Taking one game at a time, the Redhawks are continuing to improve and try to play the best game they can.

“We’re still learning as a team, especially with the younger guys, but we’re meshing and finding our style,” senior Jack Dehnisch said. “We just need to keep rolling and give it our all as a team each game.”
