Redhawks ‘get groovy’ by dressing up in 70s fashion

  • Students such a junior Kathryn Murphy, junior Joaquin Perez, senior Sadie Johnson, senior Haley Ward, senior Karina Grokhovskaya are wearing 70s style clothing to get their groove on.

  • Students such as junior Tierany Scott and senior Shaina Banerjee were found dressing up in a 70s fashion.

  • Not only did students dress up for the 70s, but counselor Amanda Zambaisi and AP Brook Fesco did as well.

  • Senior Zosh Shearer showed his 70s spirit through a tye dye shirt.

  • Many decided to dress up with their friends such as the case of freshman Jeremiah Sedgwick, sophomore Camorra Clark, freshman Kelsey Clapp, and sophomore Zoe Schneider.

  • Principal Stacy Whaling decided to partake in the 70s theme day as well.

  • Senior Michelle Monohan got her groove on by wearing a midi dress, a popular style in the 70s.

In light of the decades theme for the week leading up the homecoming dance, students have the opportunity to travel back to the 70s, a funky and fabulous decade in style.

She will be participating in her 3rd year with the CTE Competitive Mock Trial Team. Maya Silberman is a senior going into her third year on the Wingspan staff. Outside of Wingspan, she is captain of the CTE Mock Trial team and a legal intern through the CTE Center's Practicum in Government Program. In her free time, Maya can be found reading any and everything, playing New York Times games, and spending time with her dog, Luna. Sadie Johnson, Staff Reporter
Sadie Johnson is a Senior and it is her 3rd year on Wingspan. At school, she is a part of the National Honor Society and several clubs. She spends her time both working in childcare and volunteering at the Frisco YMCA. She loves to binge movies, cook, and listen to music. Sadie loves spending her weekends shopping, eating sushi, and going on walks with her family. She participates in Wingspan as a Staff Reporter and works on Social Media.
