Rangers make history with World Series win

It took them 35 years to make the playoffs, and another 15 to make the World Series.

Now just two years removed from a 102-loss season and their first time back in the playoffs since 2016, the Rangers made it to the World Series and earned their first trophy.

They are the oldest franchise without a World Series title, making it monumental that the Rangers finally won a World Series after beating the Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday 5-0.

Bruce Bochy became the 6th manager ever to win four World Series titles, and Corey Seager is just the 2nd player to win World Series MVP with two different teams along with Mr. October, Reggie Jackson.
