As the first semester comes to an end, Redhawks have the opportunity to dress up one last time starting on Monday before they leave The Nest for winter break on December 20.
The dress up days are intended to provide an opportunity for students to dress up outside of the football season, as well as have a little fun before the start of winter break.
“We chose to do dress up days because it’s always fun going into the winter break, like in good spirits, having fun,” Student Council vice president, senior Kathryn Murphy said. “We also don’t get to dress up a whole lot either, only during football season, so it gives us a chance to have a little fun.”
Dress up day themes include a mixture of both traditional themes and newer themes, ranging from Ugly Sweater Day to Ski Lodge Day.
“I’m most excited for Polar Express Day because I love to wear PJs and they’re comfy in this cold weather,” senior Advaita Patil said.
Students can find an exhaustive list of the dress up day themes below:
Monday: Movie Day – Dress as your favorite holiday movie character!
Tuesday: Winter Vacation (Tacky Tourist) – Dress in Hawaiian clothes, sunglasses & souvenirs!
Wednesday: Ski Lodge – Get cozy and dress up in ski wear/winter clothes!
Thursday: Ugly Sweater – Show off your ugliest sweaters!
Friday: Polar Express Day – Wear your PJs!
