Museums, galleries, and the Frisco ISD Administration Building. What do they all have in common? For the next two weeks, art!
The Frisco ISD Administration Building will be playing host to Redhawk art, alongside art from Emerson High School and both high schools’ feeder patterns, including Isbell Elementary School and Vandeventer Middle School, culminating with a reception Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m.
In art teacher Emily Delarios’ eyes, the art show gives district officials, teachers, and community members a chance to take a look at students’ work without having to go out of their way.
“A lot of district people go to the admin building anyway, like teachers are always going there, community members go by,” Delarios said. “And so having it there for two weeks gives people a chance to sort of stop by however they want to see the work.”
Redhawk art has been on display since Jan. 23 and ends with Tuesday’s reception and art on display will rotate between Frisco high schools and their feeder patterns every two weeks through April 10.
