There will be an extended advisory for all grade levels on Monday from 11:50 a.m. – 12:35 p.m. as sophomores and juniors complete the pre-administration bubbling on their PSAT answer document which will be administered on Oct. 11.

“It takes like forty minutes to do [the bubbling],” campus testing coordinator Ashley Stipe said. “The test takes about three hours, so we’re trying to get everybody done by 12:30 in the district. All the high schools are doing it so that you have your three hours of testing, you get in your testing room by 9 a.m., by the time everything gets handed out you’ll probably get started by about 9:15 a.m. Otherwise, you’re not gonna finish by the time for their period.”

Freshman and seniors will not be allowed to enter the academic halls during the extended advisory and must go to either the cafeteria, library, or gyms.

“Everybody’s gonna have an extended advisory period,” Stipe said. “9th and 10th graders just get the lucky draw with a 45 minute advisory period.”
