Boys’ golf finished out their fall season at the Lovejoy Fall Classic, finishing 12th out of 12 teams.

“We had a disappointing result for the tournament, but the field was very strong,” head coach Shannon Glidwell said. “The boys fought hard despite the difficult conditions on Saturday.”

Cold weather impacted the Redhawks performance over the weekend, but the team is looking towards the spring season.

“The weather was not so difficult to affect scoring, but we did not handle the elements as well as some of the other teams/players,” Glidwell said. “We will continue to work on our games and look forward to our next event in February 2023.”

This is the team’s last event until the spring, so sophomore Minseok Kim is focusing on practicing for their next season.

“The weather was pretty cold so we couldn’t really do well, but I think our team played pretty decently,” Kim said. “We are going to practice a lot in the range for the spring and do a lot of putting.”
