The playoff run for girls’ basketball continues with a game between the Redhawks and W. T. White High School on Thursday at 6 p.m. for the area championship at RL Turner High School in Carrollton.

“We are really hoping we execute well when needed and just make sure that we keep honing in and make sure that we are doing the little things right,” head coach Ross Reedy said. “We just want the kids to be enjoying themselves and to play hard.”

The girls’ are looking for their 11th straight win and a chance to move forward in playoffs.

“I expect us to execute for 32 minutes,” junior Ayra Osman said. “We want to prepare for the long run, but we want to be in the moment so we don’t want to take this team lightly. We want to be poised and ourselves.”
