Not the results they were looking for on Thursday, but the show must go on. Redhawks baseball moves tp take on Walnut Grove on Tuesday, after a loss to Heritage.

Looking to book their ticket to the playoffs on Tuesday, the Redhawks baseball team was stopped by the Memorial Warriors 4-1Tuesday night.

“We really couldn’t get anything going for us throughout the game,” assistant coach Ryan Houston said. “Our batters weren’t hitting at the plate and then they got a couple of late hits on us and just took us out of the game.”

Tuesday’s performance was far from perfect, but this strikes as unexpected for the Redhawks as they have been playing quite well throughout the season.

“It kind of felt like we were out of it the entire game, but I doubt it’ll happen again,” senior Logan Bernanke said. “Usually our offense is pretty on point and we’ll be able to score a couple of runs, but nothing was working right last night, I guess it was just one of those days for us.”
