In this weekly blog, senior Haley Ward shares a little bit of everything: deep dives on her favorite topics, her fashion favorites, and how to make the most out of your high school years.

The holidays are almost here, and if you are stressing about what to get your friend or family member as a gift for the season, here’s a quick holiday gift guide from me!

STUFF

Stanley: There is something  about Stanleys that just makes them such a great cup. They come in so many different colors, they are so cute, and they keep your drink cold for so long! I love my Stanley and I think this is a great gift to get a friend.

Tray: So cute for holding perfumes or jewelry. You can find so many different designs or plain ones.

Books: Getting a friend a book can be a really fun gift. A book that is currently on my list is Grace Valentine’s To the Girl Looking for More.

Phone cases: Phone cases will always be classic gifts to get for friends or to add to your list.

Digital camera: Digital cameras make the cutest pictures, and once you get the digital camera you will never want to go back to your phone!

Pickleball paddles: Pickleball has been a favorite of mine recently and it’s been growing so much online! There are so many cute paddles to gift someone with.

Heated blanket: This is at the top of my list. Just the perfect thing.

Mugs: Christmas mugs or mugs with initials are the best. So easy to put candy and a card in it!

Personalized bags: Lands End has these bags for around 35 dollars and you can customize them, which makes it super personal for the person receiving the gift.

BEAUTY

Curler: Hair tools are great gifts for the friend you know loves doing their hair. The Dry Bar curler is a great one.

Charlotte Tilbury setting powder: The one product I recommend to everyone.

Olaplex shampoo and conditioner: This shampoo and conditioner is pricey , but it makes your hair so healthy.

Customized makeup bag or robe: Etsy is the best for turning something simple into something so cute with just a monogram or a name embroidered!

Lip gloss: Such a staple to carry around. I love the Rare Beauty one right now!

Hair rollers: The Dry Bar hair rollers work so well if you learn how to use them!

CLOTHING

Ugg Ultra Minis: The shoe of this winter! The most comfortable shoe I own.

Sunglasses: Such a useful gift all year round.

Gray flare leggings: While black flare leggings have been popular for a while, gray ones are super cute.

Ankle socks: Aritzia has the cutest ankle socks that look so cute with sneakers or Uggs.

Pearls and gold bracelets: Simple staples! There are so many cheap ones on Amazon that I love.

New Balance sneakers: Such comfortable shoes and come in so many cute styles.

Vintage college sweatshirts: These sweatshirts are the best, and they are not very hard to find. Just search up the college you are looking for and add “vintage”. You will find so many different sweatshirts.

Happy gift giving!

Love, Haley
