As district play inches closer, Redhawks soccer will compete in the Denison tournament as preparation for district play. “We can try out various things to prepare ourselves for the season,” junior Lucas Godoy said.

Heading up to Denison Thursday, the Redhawks boys’ and girls’ soccer team will compete in the  Denison Tournament in their final weeks of preparation for district play.

“We can try out various things to prepare ourselves for the season and hopefully get more chemistry together,” junior Lucas Godoy said.

Coming off a tie against Princeton earlier this week, the girls’ will be looking to improve upon what they learned.

“Taking advantage of our chances would be important,” coach Kyle Beggs said. “But just also continuing to get those opportunities and keep working through that, and then maintaining that defensive prowess as well.”
