Playing on strings of success, Orchestra hosts banquet

Orchestra banquet ’24

Celebrating achievements, orchestra is hosting its annual banquet on Monday at Verona Villa.

“Our banquet is the end of the year celebration, like a snapshot, where we celebrate all of our successes with dinners and awards,” assistant orchestra director Madison Waggerman said. “It will be important for students, especially seniors to attend, as it will just be a lot of fun.

For senior and orchestra president Abigail So, she thinks that this time the banquets will be more commemorable as it is her last time attending.

I’m probably most looking forward to the senior slideshow as it is always cute and sentimental to see how far our students, and now my class, have come,” So said. “Also, this year we will be having a photo booth with a photographer and physical prints, which I am really excited about.”

Apart from the seniors, freshman especially Eunchan Jeong is excited to attend the banquet for the first time.

“I think it will be special as it differs a lot from how we ended the orchestra back in middle school,” Jeong says. “It will be nice to celebrate all our achievements and have fun with my friends.”
