The clock is ticking as the first nine week grading period ends Thursday with students completing their final assessments and teachers finalizing grades.
“The nine weeks ending is a mix of emotions, I’m just proud because watching the dancers from week one all the way to week nine has been amazing, and I’m just excited to watch them grow through the rest of the year,” dance teacher Sydney Mooty said, “So I’m surprised by how quickly it’s gone, but I think it was a really great nine weeks and it’s been really rewarding to see how hard the kids have been working!”
After nine weeks of work, many students are looking forward to the long five day with students off Friday, Monday, and Tuesday.
“I believe that it’s a great thing because it will give us a break from all the school work, we can have time with family and friends,” junior Izna Ahmad said.
