This year’s seniors are beginning to navigate a fast approaching early action and early decision deadline.
Some seniors have decided to submit their application to their dream school early.
“I did Early Decision to the University of Michigan because I always kind of wanted to go there, so I knew it would give me a better chance,” senior Daniel Essien said.
With the fast approaching early deadline, some students decided to get ahead of the curve and start working on their applications early.
“I started doing all my recommendation letters early in the summer, getting all that done, asked all my teachers, and then got my essay done and just got really prepared to submit everything before August first,” senior Ella Ferguson said.
With the struggles some schools like UT Austin experienced processing a record number of students during the early action round last year, students are continuing to apply early this year.
“I feel like the process has developed a lot since last year and they’ve kinda learned because of how backed up it was, so I am trusting that they can get all their early actions in time and know what they’re doing,” senior Rianna Serao said.
