Families across Frisco ISD are invited to the district’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme Information Night on Thursday evening at the district’s original high school.
Frisco High School is welcoming eighth grade families from across FISD to learn more about the district’s IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) tonight in their auditorium from 6 to 7:30 p.m..
The IBDP is a two-year advanced curriculum for juniors and seniors. IBDP courses are weighted the same as Advanced Placement classes and can earn students college credit, depending on university policies.
Students entering ninth grade are encouraged to apply early so they can plan their four-year high school experience around the program’s requirements. Enrollment for current FISD eighth graders runs through Nov. 21, and acceptance is determined through a lottery system.
