FEF Scholarship now open for Class of 2026

Graduation is more than 5 months away for the class of 2026, but the window to apply for scholarships from the Frisco Education Foundation opened last week and closes on Dec. 19 at 4 p.m.

The annual Frisco Education Foundation (FEF) scholarship window is now open.

Through this scholarship, graduating seniors in Frisco ISD high schools have the opportunity to apply to over 300 different scholarships with just a single application. Since 1999, over $11.5 million in scholarships have been awarded to over 11,000 graduating FISD seniors through FEF.

In order to apply for the FEF scholarship, students must complete one mandatory essay, in addition to several optional essays. In addition, students must obtain three recommendations – two from a teacher and one from an individual who is not part of a student’s high school community. Submission of recommendations is required prior to submission of the application, and the recommendation deadline is Dec. 19 at 3 p.m.

Students will also have to input extracurricular activities, community service and volunteer hours, work experience, and financial information including parental income verification.

The FEF application window closes Dec. 19 at 4 p.m.
