After a five-week winter break, dual credit students return to their Collin College Dual Credit classes on Tuesday, marking the start of the spring semester.
While the extended break, three weeks longer than Frisco ISD’s typical two-week vacation, gave students time to rest and recharge, many, like senior Rupal Shirpurkar, feel as though the transition back to a college-paced schedule will not be easy.
“I take my Collin class during zero-hour, which starts at 7:00 a.m.,” Shirpurkar said. “I think waking up early for school will definitely be very difficult for me to do because I haven’t done it in so long, but I’m one semester away from being done, so I’m going to try my best to stay motivated.
