Pre-registration opens for new student registration

Despite being six months away, pre-registration for the 2026-27 academic year has already opened. Former students re-enrolling, new students to the district, and rising kindergartners are all eligible to register for the upcoming school year.

The 2026-27 school year doesn’t start for six months, but new student registration opens on Tuesday for those just starting in Frisco ISD, incoming kindergartners, and re-enrolling former students. 

For students currently enrolled in FISD, invitation emails to register for the 26-27 school year will be sent out in April.

With Friday marking the last day of school, students across campus are already making plans for the summer. Wingspan will also be on summer break and resume posting on Aug. 12.

Students taking courses at the Career and Technical Education Center will see a different flavor of learning for the last three days of the 2025-26 school year. Due to the modified schedule with shortened class times, CTE students will be attending classes through Zomm.

The class of 2026 will officially graduate on Wednesday. With students being required to report to The Nest by 5 p.m., this year's graduation ceremony is set to take place at 8 p.m. at the Comerica Center where students will walk across the stage and later receive their diploma.

With the final days of the school year approaching, all students will have early release on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Students will be released at 1:00 p.m.
